TERMS · UPDATED 18 AUGUST 2026
Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service set out the conditions under which a reader may access and use ralome.info, an editorial website about men's dietary supplement habits and daily wellness practices, operated from Jakarta, Indonesia. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy referenced in the footer of every page.
1. Agreement and scope
These terms govern access to and use of ralome.info in its entirety, including the homepage, every article page, the About, Contact, and Methodology pages, and the legal pages themselves. By loading, browsing, or otherwise using this website, a reader accepts these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law; a reader who does not accept them should discontinue use of the site. These terms operate alongside, and do not replace, the Privacy Policy, which governs how information is handled, and the Cookie Policy, which governs cookies specifically. Where a specific page contains additional notices, such as an article-specific correction notice, those notices supplement rather than override these general terms.
These terms are published by the editorial desk operating under the name Ralome Journal from Jalan Wolter Monginsidi No. 11, 12180 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. Where the text below refers to "we", "us", or "the publication", it refers to that editorial desk; where it refers to "you" or "reader", it refers to any person accessing the site.
2. Nature and purpose of the publication
Ralome Journal publishes editorial commentary and research-informed notes about dietary supplement habits, whole-food nutrition, and active lifestyle routines relevant to adult men in Jakarta and across Indonesia. Articles are prepared by comparing publicly available nutritional research with everyday food patterns and are presented as general-interest journalism rather than as personalised guidance for any individual reader. The publication does not sell, distribute, or endorse specific supplement products, and no article on this site should be read as an instruction to take, avoid, or discontinue any particular product without first considering a reader's own circumstances.
Nothing on this site is intended to serve as, or to replace, individual professional advice. We recommend that a reader consult a qualified health or nutrition professional before making a dietary change, particularly where an existing health consideration applies. This general orientation applies to every article, feature, and page on the site, regardless of the specific ingredient or habit being discussed.
3. Eligibility and acceptable use
This website is intended for use by adults capable of forming a binding agreement under the law of their place of residence. A reader may browse the site, share links to individual pages, and quote short passages with clear attribution to Ralome Journal, provided that such use is for lawful, non-commercial, editorial, or personal reference purposes. A reader must not attempt to interfere with the security or normal operation of the site, must not use automated tools to extract large portions of the site's content at a rate that could disrupt service for other readers, and must not misrepresent content from this site as originating from another source.
We reserve the right to restrict access to the site, on a proportionate basis, for a reader who materially breaches these acceptable-use conditions, for example by attempting to circumvent security measures or by systematically scraping content in a way that degrades performance for other readers. Any such restriction will be limited to what is reasonably necessary to address the specific conduct concerned.
4. Content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, the text, layout, and original photography on this site are the property of Ralome Journal or are used under a licence that permits their publication here. A reader may quote a short passage with attribution for commentary, review, or educational purposes consistent with ordinary fair-use conventions, but may not republish an article in full, or a substantial part of it, without prior written permission from the editorial desk. Requests to reproduce an article at length, or to syndicate content to another publication, can be sent through the Contact page and will be considered individually.
5. Editorial accuracy and no professional advice
We aim for clear, current, and carefully sourced writing, but no publication can guarantee that every page remains complete or fully current at every moment, since ingredient labels, sourcing details, and external links referenced in an article can change after publication. Where a material factual error is identified in a published article, we will correct it and, where appropriate, add a short note describing the correction and the date it was made. Readers should treat any specific label, dosage, or sourcing detail mentioned in an article as a starting point for their own further reading rather than as a final or exhaustive statement, and should verify time-sensitive details against current primary sources such as product packaging or manufacturer documentation.
As noted in section 2, editorial content on this site is not a substitute for individual professional advice. We do not warrant that following the general habits or ingredient context described in an article will produce any specific outcome for a particular reader, and we encourage readers with specific questions about their own circumstances to raise them with a qualified professional rather than relying solely on general editorial content.
6. Third-party links
Articles on this site may link to external sources, including published research, government resources, or other websites, for reference and context. These links are provided for the reader's convenience, and the presence of a link does not imply that Ralome Journal endorses, controls, or is responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of the linked website. A reader who follows an external link does so at their own discretion and should review that site's own terms and privacy notice separately.
7. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep this website available on a continuous basis but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, since maintenance, hosting-provider issues, or circumstances outside our control can occasionally affect availability. We may add, remove, or modify pages, features, or specific articles at our discretion, including archiving older content where it is no longer editorially current. Where a substantial change affects how the site operates, such as a change to the contact form or the cookie banner, we will note the change in the relevant policy's revision log.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ralome Journal and its editorial contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from a reader's use of, or inability to use, this website, including loss arising from reliance on general editorial content without seeking individual professional advice where appropriate. This limitation does not exclude any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under the law of the reader's place of residence, including liability arising from our own wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in this section is intended to exclude statutory consumer protections that apply as a matter of law.
9. Indemnification
A reader agrees to hold Ralome Journal reasonably harmless from a direct claim arising from that reader's own breach of these terms, such as unauthorised republication of a substantial portion of an article or an attempt to interfere with the security of the site, to the extent such a claim results directly and demonstrably from that specific conduct. This section does not require a reader to indemnify us for our own errors, omissions, or breaches of these terms.
10. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles that would apply the law of another jurisdiction. Any dispute arising from the use of this website that cannot be resolved informally through the contact procedure in section 12 will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jakarta, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection venue rights a reader may have under the law of their own place of residence.
11. Relationship to the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy
These Terms of Service should be read together with the Privacy Policy, which describes in detail how personal information submitted through the contact form or generated through server logs is collected, used, and retained, and the Cookie Policy, which names each cookie used on the site and its specific lifespan. Where these Terms of Service are silent on a data-handling question, the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy govern; where there is a direct conflict between this document and either of those policies on a data-protection matter, the more specific policy applies.
12. Complaints and contact procedure
A reader with a question or complaint about these terms, or about content published on the site, can contact the editorial desk by telephone at +62 21 2184 7208, by email at [email protected], or by post at Jalan Wolter Monginsidi No. 11, 12180 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. We acknowledge a written complaint within ten business days and aim to provide a substantive response, including any correction or clarification, within thirty calendar days of receipt. Where a complaint concerns a specific factual claim in a published article, please identify the article title and the specific passage concerned so that the editorial desk can review it accurately and efficiently.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect a change in how the site operates or a change in applicable law. Where a change is material, we will note it in the dated entries below and, where appropriate, highlight it through a short editorial note on the homepage, so that a returning reader can identify what has changed since a previous visit.
